Historically dependent on low-value crops, the village has seen a remarkable increase in income levels thanks to the lucrative blueberry market. Blueberries, known for their high market demand both domestically and internationally, offer a much higher return on investment compared to traditional crops.

Many households, previously living below the poverty line, have now achieved financial stability, with some even expanding their operations.
